Who we are

Discover Ferries is the industry body for the passenger ferry sector representing 13 ferry operators in the UK, Ireland and the British Islands operating more than 80 routes. Our role is to promote ferry travel and ferry holidays to UK residents.

We run consumer PR and marketing campaigns throughout the year on behalf of the sector. We promote best practice in the industry and are the voice of passenger ferry services.

In 2019, over 37 million passenger journeys and 8.7m cars were taken on our members’ ferry services.
