Hovertravel promotes Isle of Wight Food scene

(4 March 2020) Hovertravel has launched its Isle of Wight Food & Drink brochure to celebrate the culinary credentials of the Isle of Wight.

Loretta Lale, Head of Commercial at Hovertravel, adds: “Food is a major part of travel and the Isle of Wight has award-winning producers of both food and drink. This new brochure has been created under our Hover Explore banner which aims to highlight the best experiences available via our hovercraft flights. With our special combination bus+train tickets visitors can leave the car at home and enjoy the full range of tasty treats and tipples on offer.”

The new brochure provides information on opening times, instructions on how to get to the listed locations, itinerary ideas and a map to help visitors plan their time on the island.  There are a broad range of places to visit from the Isle of Wight Distillery to diary and garlic farms as well as the chance to try the best dressed crab. Information on where to buy local produce and a couple of great value meal deals are also included.

Foodies and anyone looking for a different flavour to their Isle of Wight day trip can pick up the new brochure at Hovertravel’s terminals in Southsea and Ryde.
