If you are coming from the West of England or going to the west of the island then Yarmouth is a great choice of arrival port, close to Alum Bay and the famous Needle’s attraction. Take the car ferry from Lymington and then you’re a short journey away from some of the best beaches and scenery the island has to offer. If you don’t manage to find your own dinosaur fossils along the Dinosaur coast then head to the Dinosaur Expedition Centre and see some of the amazing finds from the island. Family attractions Tapnell Farm Park and Blackgang Chine are also close by.
