Music festivals, road trips, surf camps…there are so many reasons to holiday in the UK and Europe this year. Whether you’re at Uni, taking a gap year or a young professional, it’s likely your sense of wanderlust is high on your care-free agenda.
Find your adventure.
Take the ferry together with your mates and the journey is part of the experience. Value for money, a choice of destinations, a chance to catch up and convenience is key.
Whether you’re booking tickets for Bestival on the Isle of Wight or cycling from London to Paris here’s why to give the ferry a go…
Heading to a festival means lugging tents, sleeping bags, wellies, fancy dress and booze (if the festival allows). Take the car (or van) on the ferry – simply load it all in and don’t worry about weight allowances or baggage restrictions
Catching the ferry is unbelievably easy. Jump in the car, drive to the port, check in (whilst still in your car), roll on, relax, eat, rest….and roll off!
Value for money
Buy just one ticket – for the car, not the number of passengers travelling in it. The more people in the car, the less it costs each one. Plus avoid costs for airport transfers and hiring a car when you get to your destination
On your bike
Ferry should be an obvious choice for cycling holidays. Take your bike as a foot passenger, or strap the bikes to your car and off you go. Often bikes don’t even need to be booked in advance
Road trips – the music, the freedom …the vehicle! Take your own car, (or campervan) and you’ll have everything you need with you for the journey and will be comfortable on unfamiliar roads
Last minute travel arrangements
Still got a bit of planning to do, accommodation to book? Most ferries have Wifi readily available
Kick back and relax. The ferry is the perfect place to get some shut-eye from reclining sleeper chairs to cabins
What a perfect chance to put down your technology and have a chat!
