Experience travelling by ferry this Autumn – apply for free ferry tickets in the Big Ferry Fortnight ticket ballot
Big Ferry Fortnight celebrates all the great things about travelling by ferry: the relaxing journey, the stunning views, the space to be together and the chance to stretch your legs and get some fresh air on deck. Travelling by ferry, on many routes you can bring your own car, the luggage you want, and your pet with no need to factor in car hire, check-in baggage fees or kennel fees to your trip costs.
There are unique experiences to be had too, including sightseeing on the Thames on the Uber Boat by Thames Clippers River Bus service and flying across the Solent on the only scheduled passenger hovercraft service in Europe.
Big Ferry Fortnight is all about encouraging people, who have either never experienced ferry travel or who have not travelled by ferry for a long time, to try ferry services across the UK, British Isles and Ireland for free. By enjoying this relaxed and comfortable way to travel for yourself, we believe you’ll be so convinced by the experience that, not only will you want to try it again, but you’ll want to encourage your friends and family to give it a go too.
