Apart from the bustling seabird population on the island’s basalt cliffs, Canna is best known as a peaceful retreat. The island is owned by the National Trust, and Canna House has an excellent archive of Gaelic materials. There are puffins and eagles, and the eatery Cafe Canna in the bay serves good local food with great views.
