Colour our linkspan – Wightlink asks Fishbourne residents for their opinion

As part of Wightlink’s £45million investment in a new ship and port facilities, a new two-tier boarding ramp (linkspan) will be installed at Fishbourne terminal this winter. The ferry company is now asking local people for their views on which colour it should be painted.

A metal panel painted in four different shades is now on show at Fishbourne ticket office until Wednesday 22 June. Residents and customers are being invited to choose which one would look best on the linkspan.

“Right from the start of our project, we have involved our neighbours, stakeholders and customers in this investment in our services,” says Head of Business Operations Sean Millward. “We believe that painting the linkspan one of these colours will help it blend into the environment and would like people to help us decide on the right shade.”

After viewing the painted panel at the terminal, people can send an email to investingforhefuture@wightlink.co.uk or fill in a form at the ticket office to register their preference.
